full day of fun
so today was fun! lots of fun in fact. haha. BUT there was a little nasty and some thank goodness in the day as well.
there was a slight change of plans, and we had a little "picnic" at Becky's house, where we ate sandwiches, chips, and had cran apple juice. and during all the munching we watched most of 27 Dresses (such a good movie but the sister is a bitch!)
then we went
to the Renegade Craft Fair with Katrina, Kim, and Connie, down at Fort Mason (but sans Becky cause she had a dinner). It was pretty cool, i liked a lot of people's stuff -- but quite expensive since they're handmade. i loved the buttons and stuff from the stands and some companies/people had cool business cards. i even bought a few cause they were so cool. BUT most of all, i love love loved the free photo booth that they had!!! they even had a box of props that you could use in your pictures, hehe the mustaches were awesome! (for the pic: this "I Love Guts" company stand was soo cool!)
then we went
Kim and I's photo booth pic! love the frames!!!
after the craft fair we were off to dinner. we had some yumm yum yummy sushi at Sakana Bune and then were off to the gym. the gym was good, but very tiring.
Connie's dad picked us all up, and then i went over to her house and had an unnecessary 11pm cheeseburger. but it was quite delicious i must say. :)
my silly mustache pics in the photo booth
BUT on to better news, we all kinda dodged death/ injury/ harm today cause if it weren't for our morning lateness, we probably would've been on the underground bus around the time of the crash. so i'm pretty thankful. [good job Becky and Connie for not waking up and thus causing our change of plans!]
OMGGGG ... and it was a K that got hit, we were planning on taking a K to the gym too! thanking my lucky stars today, because this is crazy and a little scary.

family fun
today was full of family bonding time! hehe
so i got dragged to the AT&T Park in the morning to get the SF Giants' Brian Wilson bobble heads. my aunt and uncles are so crazy that they get so many tickets just to get the bobble heads to sell. but they make good money off of them so i guess it's okay. lol. but it wasn't that bad, and i got my garlic fries. haha AND the crazy thing is that they don't usually stay for the game! so yea we split before the game even started.

i've actually never seen a Giants' game, maybe i should go with them next time when they plan on watch the game. lol ... but baseball doesn't really appeal to me, i'd probably just be eating the whole time. haha. sports just aren't fascinating to me.
THEN i went shopping with the madre to Michael's and Target. basically it was all so i could use my 50% off coupon at Michael's. but i did get my calendar white board at Target for $5!!! score! and a $1 smoothie too. it was pretty tasty, but it was more like a mango slushee.
after chillin' at home for a bit, we decided to go out for dinner, and we ended up eating with my aunt, uncle, and little cousins too. i have to say the sake sashimi (raw salmon) and California Maki were very good! super duper fresh. and then we went back to their house for some dessert. mmm that coconut milk, taro, and sago dessert soup was delicious!
--- and now i'm soo happy to get the house to myself for the next few days! woot woot. planning to have a productive week! (especially to make up for the nothingness from work, but whatevers) so yea .. i wanna get the much needed cleaning done and finally get my room all organized. Also try to do a garage sale soon - make some cash and get rid of my crap. lol

How to have a productive day ...
had a pretty good and productive day.
got some hours in at work, worked out at the gym, and had a delicious sandwich for a good price!
Recipe for a good day:
Ingredients:
- sleep
- work
- gym
- friends
- yummy food
1. sleep in 'til 12ish
2. have a midday shift at work.
3. get in a good workout at the gym; cardio, legs, abs, arms. especially better with your workout buddies!
4. have a delicious Vietnamese Sandwich for under $4 in SF!!!!
[that viet restaurant next to the gym has definitely redeemed itself 'cause their Combination Pork Sandwich is to die for!!! it was sooo delicious, and only $3.55 (with tax)! ]
i recommend trying to have these days as much as possible. haha :)

R.I.P. Michael Jackson
Rest In Peace Michael Jackson.
Today, MJ's memorial was held at The Staple Center in LA, and i have to say there were some touching moments. though i didn't get to see it all, from the parts that i saw, it must have been a tough day for the Jacksons. but i was close to tears when Jermaine sang "Smile" - Micheal's favorite song, Brooke Shields spoke, when Usher sang and touched the casket, and especially when his little daughter Paris spoke.
As the event drew to an end, Michael's baby sister Janet was seen comforting his daughter, Paris Katherine Jackson, moments before the 11-year-old asked for the microphone. "I just wanted to say ... ever since I was born, daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine, and I just wanted to say I love him so much." (from OMG! - http://omg.yahoo.com/photos/michael-jackson-memorial/3038?nc#id=1)

and this article says it all. MJ was not just the King of Pop, or "Wacko Jacko", but Daddy to his 3 little children. http://new.music.yahoo.com/michael-jackson/news/jacksons-kids-emerge-from-behind-the-veil--61991322
You will live on forever MJ and always be the King of Pop. You're songs will always play on.
love ...
something i found on blogsecret .
5198.) you don't know me and i don't know you, but i know that one day we'll meet. and we'll love forever.
i've been pondering this for quite some time now. for now my mantra is to "let the chips fall where they may."
i wish i had someone that said:
5191.) I would make it go away if I could. If it were up to me, nothing bad would ever happen to you.
the day will come ...
(i'll find an appropriate picture tomorrow)

a little skurred ...
kinda scared for tomorrow. (well actually 8 hours from now, but w/e it feels like Monday still cause i haevn't gone to sleep yet.)
i'm doing a test run for a new babysitting job that i might be picking up for the Fridays to come, for the rest of summer. it's for my mom's coworker again, but now it's her newborn (10 months), while before it was her (now around 10 to 12 yr old) daughter that was quite older. i really hope he's not really THAT bad and it all goes well. The big kicker is "stranger fobic". let's hope this baby likes me.
*crossing my fingers and everything else i got!*

'ello mate
Quote of the day:

so sexay! http://popwatch.ew.com/popwatch/2009/06/ryan-reynolds-proposal-interview-1.html
"Oh, he was really good! He drugged me up. haha"
man the things that come out of my mouth sometimes. lol. all cause Connie asked me about the doctor guy that i went to to get my wisdom teeth out. he was nice, and he totally gave me all the drugs possible; pain killers or some kind of pills for the night before and an hour before, a numbing shot, and laughing gas.
BUTTT ... today was a success.
finally got my coffee ice cream!!!! <3
long time craving satisfied! (after like a month and a half hahha)

and i got the Entertainment Weekly issue with Ryan Reynolds on the cover!! He is sooo hot! too bad he's married :( but still nice to look at!
