nothing much

so Friday was fun ... i didn't have to work. so i got to hang out with Kathy and Angelica (again ... so cool cause we got to hang out twice in one week!!!) it was fun just chatting and reminiscing. fun ... Oh and i made my first batch of brownies ever... well they were from a bag but none the less still delicious. but you know what's weird? i didn't used to like chocolate-y things. a shocker but i didn't use to like choco chip cookies and stuff, but i always liked chocolate bars... yea i'm weird. but now i like them and i think it all from the one and only Kathy (aka the chocoholic ... lol)
but then i had work today ... i was supposed to work from 4 to 8PM, but i wasn't really needed because it got super slow, so i got off at 7PM instead. kinda sucked cause that means i lost an hour of pay but whatever i guess. what sucked was that i kinda stabbed my finger while sensoring some shorts ... wel actually just like super poked it ... i didn't bleed, but it hurt a lot... enough that i almost screamed out "ouch!!!" but i didn't. OMG! Lila was cleaning the clearance stuff (which she totally kicked the clothes' butts because it all got super organized and stuff :D) aznd she found a pair a jeans that would be only $2.99 ... but none of us fit a 7/8 Long. she asked me if i knew anyone who fit that size ... but i don't ... too bad. even i don;t fit that. usually i'm a 7 for jeans at other places ... but not at Aero ... which makes not feel as fast i guess. iono. but flippin' $2.99 for jeans is extremely a great deal. o wells.

oh yea .. i went to safeway with my mom and i finally got the strawberries that i've been wanting. they were never worth it to get ... but the ad had a coupon that was $4 for a 4 pound box of strawberries with at least a $10 purchase. although they are very redd... they aren't suoer sweet. boo! or maybe my tastebuds are weird today ... i guess i'll see tomorrow. th funny thing is that we went there with a list of stuff to spend like $11 to usse the coupons but we ended up spending like $20 ... and the coupon stuff added like $7. it is never safe to go shopping even if it's for groceries ... we always find something.

oooooo ... this bike that i saw in the Teen Vogue magazine is so awseome !!! it's a folding bicycle. i forgot what the company that makes it is ... something ware ... let me check ... AREAWARE. it's on the site: areaware.com under Strida. very cool. and it comes in different colors.

so yesterday night i gave Kathy a call to ask if Angelica and her wanted to hang out on Wednesday. BUT i just said "hello" and then K already asked. it is so weird how we were both thinking the same thing!!! :D and it happens more often then not. funny. i guess when you're best friends with someone you start thinking alike. lol

so the "three amigas" had an adventure ... as we always do ... and took the bus down to STEVE & BARRY'S down near the wharf. very fun especially since we haven't hung out in a while ... i think the last time was during spring break. we also had a nice chat on the long bus ride. oh yea, more icing on the cake was that the store is having their awesome "everything in the store is only $8.98 sale" ... which is pretty cool. and the store is cheap chic to start because their motto is that fashion and looking good shouldn't cost an arm and a leg ... everything is $19.99 and under.

anyways ... i ended up spending $29.22 even though after going to Gilroy i said i'd stop shopping for a while ... but of course that never happens!!! but i got three things which is definitely worth it. and even cooler, i finally got my skinny jeans!!! actually i got two pairs ... dark wash jeans and black ones ... both from Sarah Jessica Parker's BITTEN line. the other thing i bought is a pink half zip sweatshirt form Amanda Bynes's DEAR line. very nice stuff.

oh ... and my family and i had a scrumptious dinner ... wonton soup and choy ... delicious. and we also have a whole ziplock baggy full of more wonton in the freezer. yummy.

well i guess that's it for now ... man i have to close the store again tomorrow (5 to 9:30pm ... probably until 10 maybe) ughs!!!

shopping reward

so yesterday Sheree invited me to go to Gilroy with her and her family. It was very fun ... because of 1) all the great deals, 2) we just found out that we passed accounting and it's done until after summer, and 3) i haven't really been all around the outlet ever (it's huge).

I got a bunch of stuff that i didn't really need, but absolutely wanted. cheap too. i got two pairs of shoes, a bag, two shirts, and some jelly belly candy. ... all for about $68!!!

These are the green Nike's that i got ... i've been wanting a pair of Nike's for a while, i don't know why but these were cool looking. only $28 cause there was a "power hour sale which they gave and additional 30% off on the sale shoes on the back wall.

i love the Vans Outlet store ... they had a BOGO half off sale. so Sheree got a pair of blue flannel checkered shoes and i got these are the word search Vans that I really wanted when they came out. i wanna write in some words but i dunno what yet. about $16 each with tax.

then i got a hounds tooth bag from the FOX store ... i really liked it and we had 50% off one item coupons. very nice. now that i think about it, maybe i should've gotten this black, gray, and hot pink checker board jacket but o wells. it probably would've been like $18 or $20. but the bag was $10 which is alright and i don't have anything like it. oh yea ... ia also wanted this ribbed tank that was cream with my tealy colored words on it. something like LOVE YOU FOX on it in calligraphy lettering. very cute, but the coupon was only on one item ... and bag trumps tank.

i also got 2 long sleeve shirts from PacSun for only $4.23!!! it's cause they had a $1.99 red line sale. the shirts were red line because they were "a little imperfect" ... they looked normal when i tried it on so whatever. i got a baby blue and a salmony pink one and Sheree got a little darker blue one.

at the Jelly Belly store there were sample ones: pomegranate, Coldstone Cake Mix, dark chocolate, and Garlic. Sheree told me not to taste the garlic one so i didn't ... but someone else did and boy did they make a disgusting face!!! even the worker thought it was gross. i got a 7UP jelly bellies, those were very yummy, and it came in this cool bottle. i also got some other candies ... the total was $8.25 ... not extremely cheap but the stuff is cool.

I heart the word SALE!!! it;s a tiny word but it's an awesome fantastic one!!! :D

but now i have to stop shopping for a while. need to save money... no more spending.

well now i have to get ready for work ... sigh ... i have to close the store today, which i've never done before ... hope it's not too messy and there isn't too much to do. well i guess i'll see tonight.

OMG!!!!! so freaking Happy!!!!!

OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm so relieved and ecstatic and overjoyed and any other words that project that i am TOLLY OVER THE MOON with happiness!!!!! i just found out that i passed ACCOUNTING!!! I got a B-. Sheree just called me to go check the grades and i think that was the fastest i have ever jumped out of my seat to go do something. I was so worried and scared that i wasn't going to pass ... i was even thinking up back ups for when i didn't pass. but now i can relax and not worry about anything (well at least until final registration for fall classes which is always crazy).

also i am extra happy because i think everyone else i know that was taking accounting with the same teacher as me passed too. so awesome. i guess we were all freaked out and worried that we studied our butts off and it was well worth it.

... torture week ...

wow ... i haven't been on in a while ... guess i've been super busy.

well the torturous FINALS week has begun and so far i'm surviving. i had my astronomy final on Monday, ISYS final on Tuesday, and my HM 324 food final today. they were'nt as hard and crazy as i thought, i hope i passed. Now, i have 2 more final, one more day ... and then i'm FREE!!!! countdown. but tomorrow morning is the big crazy horrible tough ... wait for it ... ACCOUNTING final!!! @ freaking 8 AM. then i have time to study for my last HM 421 food final @ 410. AHHHHHHHHH....

Despite the fact that i should be crazy studying for my ACCT final right now ... everything else is according to plan. i've studied and taken the tests like i said i would and now i'm going on the last leg of the race ... and hopefully i cross the finish line in one piece. then all i need to do is jump up and down, celebrate, reward myself for all the hard work by watching the Ugly Betty and Grey's Anatomy finales, and then await the grades that will all hopefully be passing.

yea baby ...

okay ... so the past few days have been pretty good. i did my homework, had fun, and didn't stay home and eat all weekend.

so last Friday i had babysitting and got to watch 'Chasing Zoey' with the kids. it was nice seeing them since i haven't babysat in a while, and i got some cash. (man i'm such a little kid, watching all these Nickelodeon and Disney shows. :D ) Then, on Saturday i went shopping with Becky at Stonestown and got a bunch of new clothes and accessories from Aeropostale. i got a new hoodie, a thin sweater/cardigan, a red shirt, a blue tank/top, a cool tote, super comfy black flip flops, and a pretty bead necklace all for just $40. love sales and discounts. then on Sunday, my Aunt had a BBQ at her house for her birthday. i got to try a new quick cobbler recipe (which is a slight variation for the one i made with Melisa a few weeks ago). it turned out yummy. easy and it looked great too. (should've taken a picture ... o wells) And then on Monday i worked downtown and the other doctor brought us Chevy's chips and salsa for Cinco de Mayo. muy delicioso!

and along with all these events i was able to get my some homework done and feel accomplished. booyah! also my website (e-portfolio) for my ISYS class is finished and published. i really liked doing this assignment and think it turned out awesome and shows who i am. now i kinda wanna check out web design for a major, but that probably wouldn't be a good job in the future. hmmm...

another good thing was that TV was absolutely awesome last night. man Gossip Girl was crazy good, with all these revelations in practically all the characters stories. total shocker at the end too .... a killer! (literally) Then One Tree Hill was good. Jamie is so cute. and Brooke kicked butt in her meeting with the baby. i think Brooke and Lucas will get together maybe. but hopefully Peyton will be able to talk to Lucas and maybe they will spark up again. Millie and Marvin have such funny names. then The Hills was good too. but i'm sad that it's the finale next Monday. i'm mad that Lo is being so snobby to Audrina ... driving Audrina and Lauren apart. ahhhh ... wonder what will happen next. hope it will be an hour episode. (and don't get me started on Hiedi and Spencer ... but go Stephanie for kickin' him out!) ahhh Monday nights are so good!!!!!

well ... i should get back to my 'food' papers and hopefully be able to get them done tonight.

let's hope the rest of he week goes well too.

--- CRAP ... the only bad thing this week is that the ceramics class is full and now i'm sad that for another semester i was too late to get the class. sucks!!!! o wells. maybe i can add on the first day. **cross fingers**
