excellent day!

- watched The Proposal with Anna, Connie, and Kathy. Love love loveddd it. so hilarious and sweet. and if i might add, Ryan Reynolds is definitely smokin' hot! and Sandra Bullock has a good body too, she's fit man. definitley one of my top favorites right now. (Note: oh yes, we cut it super duper close, cause we literally just made it for the beginning of the movie. )


- killed time at Stonestown ... saw some friends at Haag and Daz :D

- GYM finally! but omg ... we were a tad late for the 24SET class, so we were stuck with 5lb weights for the barbell, and 6 pound hand weights. shiettt practically killed me man. usually use 2.5lb for barbell and 3lb weights. i think i prefer the Wednesday night class with Fiona more, idk why but this one was just too much for me. and i was getting confused on all the stepping. but the good thing is i'm probably gonna feel sore in the morning.

- SUSHI finally too!!!! it's been like a month since i had sushi last. so sad, especially because i love it soo much. Anna, Connie, and I went to Nippon Sushi in Pacifica and over stuffed ourselves with tempura and sushi. ahhh ... but it was sooo delicious and worth it! i thought it was funny that Anna was saying she wanted to take me to this hole in the wall cheap sushi place near South City, and when she describes it i totally knew where it was. LOL ... i used to go here with my family like all the time when i was young, before they really had any sushi places near our house.

- and then we went back to my house and Anna was gonna to show me this Korean Movie, Virgin Snow, but it wasn't loading right so we just ended up watching Princess Hours. haha i say finally again, cause i bought it on my trip to Hong Kong and i never watched it ... it's been like 3 years almost. it's funny and i'm probably gonna like it, guess i have to finish it to find out. --- look what you did Anna! you got me addicted ... imma be popping in disco after disc now. lol

BUT yea ... today was a very excellent day. fun times with great people, and productive too! <3

We lost another legend ...

i really can't believe that MICHAEL JACKSON died Thursday afternoon. I didn't believe it at all when my coworker told me. so sad, the KING OF POP is gone. he will be deeply missed, despite his crazy antics and wacky lifestyle. don't know what's going to happen to his 3 young children now, and his family is probably still in shock.

i love practically all of his songs. i think it's pretty cool that my grandpa has the original 1982 Thriller CD. basically most of his hit songs are on that CD. great album by far! but just to name a few of my favorites ... Thriller, Billie Jean, Smooth Criminal, PYT (pretty young thing), Beat It, Bad, Man In The Mirror, Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough, Wanna Be Startin' Something, I Just Can't Stop Loving You, Rock With You, The Way You Make Me Feel.

yes .... Michael Jackson did a lot in his lifetime, but he died way too early. He was such a great performer, his dancin' is awesome and his singing is phenomenal. This moonwalkin' man will never be forgotten!!!

One of these days, i wanna learn the moves to Thriller! i shall i shall someday.

disney adventure over :(

just got back from a vacation to WALT DISNEY WORLD with the fam fam. had lots of fun in the hot hot sun and enjoyed all the Disney Magic. i soooo love love love that place. 4 parks all in 1 magical world ... definitely the happiest place on earth. <3 class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4">WDW!!!!) lol

the only problem is the food ... why must it be so darn expensive??? i miss the old food that used to be at our hotel, Port Orleans Riverside Resort. :( they used to have super yummy chicken Cesar salad and those delicious mashed potatoes *sigh*. o wells, but this year we found this yummy sandwich and stuff place at downtown Disney. Earl of Sandwich or something. mm mmmm yummy.

We went to all the four parks: Magic Kingdom, EPCOT (Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow), Disney's Animal Kingdom, and Disney's Hollywood Studios. loads of fun just a bus ride away from your Disney Resort. i must say the new Toy Story Mania 3D ride at the Hollywood Studios is pretty fun. BUT overall i love the Magic Kingdom: Cinderella's Castle and all the other rides are so fun. all the classics are there, Pirates, Splash Mountain, Peter Pan, but too bad Space Mountain was closed down for "refurbishing" until the winter. boo. i also really like the Hollywood Studios park as well. Aerosmith's Rockin' Roller Coaster and the Backstage Tour rides are cool.

well all the Disney Magic is over and it's time to get back to reality. it kinda sucks that the i only
have one day of work this week because i really need to start making money this summer. I'm contemplating whether or not to talk to my boss to see if my hours or going to pick up or if i need to find another source of income as well. bahhh ... oh how i despise retail work! BUTTTT now the pro is that i have a few days free to hang out with my good old buddies that I've missed for the past couple weeks, and the ones that I've missed that came back from their UCs while i was gone.

here's to continuing this summer of fun. :D

summer time adventures!

what have i been up to these past few days you ask???
I've been enjoying my summer like no other!!! :D hehhe

- grabbing some dessert after work or whatever with some buddies. I <3 my APhioO buds!
- went to Masu in San Mateo for all you can eat sushi and Japanese food, with Anna, Kathy, Ben, and Grace.
- Golden Gate Bridge Adventure.
- Been hitting the gym!!!!
- went to Jan's BBQ in Santa Clara.
- movie night with my chicas, cause Anna never saw Ocean's 11!!!
- 1AM silly pics on the new laptop
- Late Night Escapade: got kidnapped by Anna and Kathy, picked up Karen, surprised Kevin, and drove over the bridge to Andrew's house in Richmond.

yippeeeeee

hehe the past week has been quite fun!!!
except we were missing the K from our trio :( sadddd.

but Wednesday, Anna and I had a little accidental adventure and got to see the nice SF scene from the Bay Bridge. (i'll post up a video later on) and then we hit the gym ... haha after a lonnggg while! but it was crazy but very good. we took the 24 S.E.T. class which was super intense and involved stepping, lifting, barbells, dumbbells, and crunches. insane but excellent full body workout. and all that exercising worked up our appetites, so we hit Subway at school and got some delicious sammiches! mmm. 'cept the working dude was messing with me and made me think i paid $7 not 6 and then tried to give me extra change and just touched my hand. I was like WTF man you suck!!

then Thursday was the best day everrrr. (seriously giving Tuesday's Wicked a run for it's money hhahaa) Round1: Anna, Jason, Jennifer, Kevin, Phil, and I basically went city hopping all day. went to Davis for sushi and a little hunt for KevJumba. then to Dixon for Walmart and got some miscellaneous things and drinks. and then off to Vacaville for some more shopping at the outlets and also some delicious frozen yogurt. next was on to Fairfield, where Phil and Jenn are from, and we chilled and played games at Jenn's house. her doggy JC is sooo cute! but man did time flyyy by cause we didn't even know it was 830PM already, and we headed to Jenn's parents' restaurant for a super yumm yummy dinner! after we finished our game of LIFE at her place, we finally headed back to SF. and we heard 3 songs so many times throughout the day, and this is the quote: "good thing you got you HALO on, cause we gonna KNOCK YOU DOWN with our BOOM BOOM POW!!" lol ... and that's what you call a successful city hopping adventure!!

Friday was a relaxing day at home doing nothing really. haha... i should've cleaned my room as planned, but all i did was some laundry. haha I ate family dinner at the granparentals' and played mah jong with everyone heheh. fun fun. after that, we did Round 2: dessert at My Favorite Cafe. except 2 people from our group got K.O.ed, Kevin and Phil. but they tagged in Frandel and Karen. hehhe. good times.

this Saturday morning, Anna and I hit the gym and took the TKB (Turbo Kick Boxing) class. and boy was that intense!! crazy fast kicking and jabbing for the entire hour. up up zig zag, cross cross, front 4 times, and kick and knee. put it all together now. footballll!!! oh man. i think we're going to stick to the 24 SET class cause this was crazy. but good cause it burned 500 to 600 calories! haha

now i'm gonna head off to work soon and then maybe Round 3 tonight! yayy. :D

went to see WICKED with Katrina and Connie tonight, and i must say it is absolutely magnificent!!!! i love love loveddddd every single second of it! i want the soundtrack now. lol

The actors were so good, and boy can they sing their hearts out!!! i just love Glinda and Elphaba! <3 AND the costumes were so detailed and just beautiful. but some of the hair on the people was a little scurry. haha. i even bought a keychain afterwards. Also, the Orpheum Theater is so pretty inside, the architecture is very nice!

it's been a FUN start to my summer!!!

the end of semester MZ bonfire picnic at the beach was fun on Friday. good food, great people, fun times = an excellent time! but the only down side was the crappy weather. stupid SF and the fog and wind and yucky beach-ness. although, finally got to meet Thomas, who just got back from HK, and he's so cool! :D

then we got dessert with Grace at the Irving place which was tasty. i wanna make the sago with coconut milk and mango now!! lol

after that we went to extension to use the potty and say hi to people. then went next door to the "Garage" to hang out with Kevin and people. And it just so happened that they were all celebrating and congratulating Samson on graduating! Then after that we all went to ABC to eat a little bit and yea ... that was our night.

AND then ... Sunday was the Jordan's Farewell Dinner :(. we ate at The Cheesecake Factory which was quite yummy! after that we all hung out at Mel's place and just chilled. i finally met my Grand Biggie that night too!!! :D
