major anticipation!

Aiyas ... i can't believe my pleging process is basically OVER. so sad, but it was SUPER uber FUN fun FUN!!! :D

getting to know all these cool people, getting my awesome BIG, growing closer to my fellow G-Ro's, doing all sorts of different service projects, funsraising, all those cool bonding times at the fellowships ... ALL of it was soo great!

the FINAL was intense but i think we all did good. But now i'm just awaiting "the call" for my results. i'm really really getting impatient now! ahhh ... pretty soon imma have an axiety attack. lol

well ... time to catch up on TV, eat a little bit, then study some more for my 632 midterm tomorrow (boos)

time t buckle down and get it all done! i must finish with flying colors and pass all my classes! i can do this ... STUDY STUDY STUDY time!!!!!!

Ugh! Really EFFFFFF My LIFE right now!!!!!!!

seriously ... i mean seriously, i am so freaking scared right now. there is just so much left to do and so little time to get it all done. My days are freakin' numbered ...
tests, assignments, group projects, and most of all PLEDGING!

we really gotta get on this and pull it together G-Ro!!! We can do it!

--- i gotta study study study and study some more. oh yea, and read too. (yuck!) i need to get things in order and get it all done! :(

Big and Lil Appreciation Week.

Big and Little Appreciation Week was right before spring break and it was so fun. i made my awesome big a Japanese Bento box full of yummy stuff for day one, Monday. I put a cool sushi decorated sake cup, melon gummies, some fruity gum, mango candy, Japanese rice crackers, and i made some sushi ... California roll, kappa maki, and oshinko maki. delicious. (I also went a little over board and made a bunch more just to bring to share with my pledge bros and the other members. :D) My biggie got me some delicious clam chowder and this yummy bread with this sweet butter in it. mmm mm good.

I also made tees that said I <3 Big and I <3 Lil. hehe. (we still need to take a pic together wearing them. lol) I couldn't finish in time, but i did also made a scrapbook with some pics that we took. :D This was also a "happy belated burthday" gift as well. lol. When i gave it to him last meeting, he gave me this baggy full of super cute clothes from Forever 21. hehe. love them!!! i even almost bought one of the tops he got me. hahaha.

Then it was Twin Night at Fuddruckers on Thursday. which was a lot of fun, but my Big had to work. :( But i matched with my Great Grand Big Melissa and the other people in that line. hehe. we rocked out those tees, leggings, and Chucks!!! hehe. OO yea and best of all, Kevin (Anna's Big) gave me the awesome teal tee from my Big that i absolutely loveee. It has "G. Coco's Lil" stitched on it in purple! :D

- this was my first time at Fuddruckers and i have to say it was quite yum yum yummy!!! That burger was delicious and those "frings" (onion rings and fries) were so good! and they have cheese sauce!!! :D mmm ... fries with cheese = bomb!

hahaha ... and i told the cashier dude that my name was Shaleila!!! LMAO.

and of course ASK took a cute pic!!! we love our bigs! :D peaceout!

My favorite service project so far ...

So a few Saturdays, we did the Brightest Little Star service project at a Berkeley craft store and it was really fun. We got to stitch little stars on to scent dolls that are for premature babies born at the Berkeley hospital NICU. It was really fun to add the stars on the dolls and then sew the hats on too. The little dolls turned out so cute .. but i only got to do one cause it took me forever to fix the seam in the hat cause my dolls head was a little too big so it stretched the hat a little too much. hehe. After my dolly was finally all finished, May and I cut out stars for other dolls to be made soon. :D

Anyways, this project was so cool and meaningful for me becasue I was a premie, I was born 2 months early. I just think it's so cool that people are making these dolls for the babies and their families. <3 face="arial">C3 darn those other requrirments.]

okay ... time for a little recap.

So now i finally have some time on my hands ... well i probably should be cleaning my room, but whatevers. i wanna do this because it's been on my mind.

These past couple months have just flown by super quick!
As you know ... I'm in the process of pledging for the fraternity Alpha Phi Omega, and I love every single bit of it!!! ( i hope i don't forget anything.)

So i left off at Spring Sectionals -- man was that a while ago. After that the next exciting thing was REVEALING!!! It is definitely the most memorable thing that's happened for me thus far. I loved getting all the clues from my Big and then the week came to an end and we had our day of bonding and fun.

Revealing was held at Orange Park and it got to a little late start but it gave us pledges time to bond. It was just hilarious watching everyone play all the games, like Zoo, Superheroes, and all the dancing ones. but then when some more of the members arrived, we got the ball rolling with a little game called "Bird on a perch." I was teamed up with Edward ... too bad we didn't get to stay in very long, but it was funny watching, Mackenzie, Ashley, and Nikko signing the songs. lol. Then it was time for us pledges to find out what family we are in, and we had to follow the strings to the tables for ROCK, PAPER, and SCISSORS!!! (I soo knew Jason was up to something when he was running around with all those crazy string weaving his little web around the park!!) but i was part of the last group to go and guess what i am??? A ROCKKKKK!!!! and Kathy and Anna are a paper and a scissor.

after that ... we did some family games and i got toilet papered into a mummy for the scissors game. but it was fun. Then we moved on to getting closer to finding out who our BIGS are and we played a little Q & A scavenger hunt ish game to see which family pledges would go first. So it was Paper, then Scissors, and lastly Rock. For the first few people they just asked who we thought our big was and then took down the curtain and there your big was. BUT then they switched it up and you were greeted by a whole line of people and then your Big would come out from somewhere else and yea. :D ... so after a little bit of waiting and being confused, my Big is GLENN COCO!!! I <3 my Biggie!

I love the care basket that i got ... with the Coco Puffs and Krispies, and my name tag, coconut bra, and hot chocolate, M&Ms, and most of all my lovely binder!!! Thanks Biggie!!!

--- Then after Revealing, we had a little study night at Cheralen's to prepare for our midterm. It was fun and good to review all the stuff! :D Go G-Ros!
